Heather’s Handmade Cards began when I handed a birthday card to my nephew and his comment was “I’ve already got that one” and I thought to myself “well maybe this year but next year it will be one I’ve made myself and therefore he will not already have one”
I kept this promise to myself and my desire for making all my own greeting cards began.
I’ve opened up this website for those people who would like to give a unique card to someone special but doesn’t want the hassle of making it themselves. My website allows my customers to offer suggestions for changing a particular card to more meet the needs of the person they are giving the card to.
I have, since being online, been asked to design cards for special people and this challenge I have thoroughly enjoyed.
You may freely copy my ideas and create your own all I ask is that you change it ever so slightly to make it yours.
As can be seen the range of cards grows as I create more and by this I mean I have not had a reason to make a Mother’s Day Card since 1999 however some people have asked me to make them for their mothers. I make two – one for the website and one for them.
